Privacy Policy

KI Business Compass ("the App") is an internal workforce-management application operated by Konfidence Investment for its employees and team members. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used. Use of the App requires an account created by your organisation; the App is not intended for the general public.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, login ID, email address, department/team, role, and profile photo if you choose to upload one.
• Attendance data — punch-in and punch-out times, and the precise location (GPS coordinates and derived address) of your device at the moment you punch in or out. Location is captured only when you actively use the attendance punch feature, never in the background.
• Work records — tasks, daily reports, KPIs, meeting details, leave requests and related content you or your organisation create in the App.
• Notifications — if you enable push notifications, your device's push subscription token is stored so the App can deliver alerts about tasks, meetings and updates.

How we use this information

• To operate attendance tracking, task management, KPI tracking, meetings and reporting for your organisation.
• To verify attendance location at punch-in/punch-out, as configured by your organisation.
• To send you notifications you have opted into.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
• We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
• We do not track your location in the background — location is read only at the moment of an attendance punch.

Data sharing

Your data is visible to your organisation's authorised administrators and managers as part of normal workforce management. Reverse-geocoding of punch coordinates uses the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service (coordinates only, no identity attached). Push notifications are delivered through your device platform's push service (e.g. Google/Mozilla push servers); message contents are encrypted in transit.

Data storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers, transmitted over HTTPS, and protected by authenticated access controls. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (bcrypt).

Data retention and deletion

Records are retained while your account remains active and as required by your organisation's policies. To correct or delete your data, or to deactivate your account, contact your administrator or email us at the address below. Uninstalling the App stops all notifications; you can also disable them anytime in your device settings.

Children

The App is a workplace tool intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be available at this address.
